Robert Vernon Satterfield, age 88 of Hayesville, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence.
He was a native of Hall County, GA and the son of the late Clyde and Archie Forrester Satterfield. Robert had worked as a poultry service man in chicken houses and was the store manager for Dills Galaxy in Hiawassee, GA. He was a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Fields Satterfield and a brother, Verle Satterfield.
Surviving are his son, Anthony Satterfield of Hayesville; daughters, Denise Satterfield and Amy Satterfield Bracken and husband Ricky all of Hayesville; grandson, Austin Satterfield Humphries; brother, Jackie Satterfield; sister, Jo Ann Palmer; sister-in-law, Fannie Ruth Satterfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Oak Forest United Methodist Church in Hayesville. Rev. Brian Wilson and Rev. Jackie Sellers will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Oak Forest United Methodist Church in Hayesville.
