Mary Hummingbird

    Mary Lou Hummingbird, age 75 of Marble, NC passed away Thursday July 25, 2019 at her home.

    She was a native of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Allen Wolford Hawk. Mary had been a CNA for the Stillwell Nursing Home and had worked for the Cherokee Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, NC for ten years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and quilting.

     She is survived by her husband, James Hummingbird; two sons, Johnny Livers and Jackie Livers; one daughter, Glenna Stockton; two brothers, Jimmy Hawk and Carl Hawk; three sisters, Louise Bird, Rebecca Morton and Virginia Hawk; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

     A Graveside Service will be held at the Tyler Springs Cemetery in Stillwell, Oklahoma at a later date. 

     Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
