Billy Worley

Billy Worley, age 78 of Murphy, NC passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020.

He was a born in Ellenton, GA but had been a resident of Cherokee County, NC for over thirty years. He was the son of the late William and Nora Hortense Worley. Billy was a heavy equipment operator in the steel building industry and had enjoyed working outside, construction and building. He was always a do-it-yourself person. He loved his family and his cat, Daisy. Billy was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Wall Worley; granddaughter, Brittany Wall; four brothers, Alfred, Oley, Walt and Ralph Worley; and two sisters Lora Jane Worley and Nora Venice Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Worley; a son, Billy Joe Worley, one sister, Shriley Ann Dees; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
