Frank Tigar

Frank Tigar, age 68 of Hayesville, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his residence.

Frank was a native of Easton, PA and was a son of the late Frank and Marie Ostrander Tigar. He retired as a Captain with the City of Asheville Fire Department and was an US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Era. Frank was a member of the D.A.V. and Hayesville First United Methodist Church. He loved his family, fishing, boating, hiking and other outdoors activities.

Frank is survived by his wife, Kim Tigar; son, Scott Tigar; daughter, Lindsay Tigar and fiancé Rasmus Kastoft-Christensen; brother, Jesse Tigar; sister, Deborah Ann Tigar and mother-in-law, Myrtle Gordon.

No services are planned at this time.
