Elayne Marie Zapp, age 81 of Murphy, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
She was the daughter to the late Leo and Myrtle Smith Gentes. Elayne was a LPN for Brookside Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Zapp; her first husband, Wayne Schlitz; and a brother, Don Gentes; and a sister, Virginia Gentes.
She is survived by her son, Dan Schlitz and wife Marcia; daughter, Kathy Hall and husband Mylon; and grandchildren Laurel Hall and Jacob Ruetten.
