Bettye Jo Dillard

Bettye Jo Dillard, age 51 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Roy and Ellie Miller Brendle. Betty was a caregiver. She loved knitting, crossword puzzles and reading. Bettye loved her fur babies.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Dillard; one son, Nathan Dillard; one brother, Timmy Brendle and two sisters, Elizabeth Summerell and Chris Walko.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
