Ralph Vincent DeGenova

Ralph Vincent DeGenova, age 83 of Hayesville, NC passed away Monday, January 5, 2026.

He was born in Everett, Massachusetts to the late Bruno Ralph and Rita Mary Murphy DeGenova. Ralph was a US Army National Guard veteran. He retired from Volvo Trucks as a Marketing Manager. Ralph loved riding his motorcycle and traveling. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Ralph was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church in Jamestown, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher DeGenova and one brother, Richard DeGenova.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn DeGenova; two sons, George DeGenova (Ann Marie) and Chad Fields (Katie); one daughter, Bethany Penland (Will); two sisters, Rita and Carol DeGenova; six grandchildren, Adam, Merritt, Coman, Charlie, Saryn and Monroe; and three great grandchildren, Isabella, Rory and Luca.

A service celebrating Ralph's life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Integrity Church, 2420 Corporation Parkway, Burlington, NC 27215. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 10:55 am prior the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Pruitt Hospice, or to a hospice of your choice, in honor of the compassionate care provided.
