Nettie Earl Hyde

Nettie Earl Hyde, age 83 of Athens, Tennessee and previously of Robbinsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Nettie was born in Graham County to the late Early Marcus and Lillian Rosell Berrong. She liked to shop, watch TV and read novels. Nettie loved the outdoors, flowers, hummingbirds, gardening and nature in general. She was of the non-denominational faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Ellison.

She is survived by her daughters, Leatinia Hudson and Lisa Hyde; a stepdaughter, Janet Kansil; her grandchildren, Ashley Green, Brandy, Paige and Megan; her several great grandchildren; and a special bestie, April Kelsey.

A funeral service will be announced at a later date.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
