Sherry Ann McGregor

Sherry Ann McGregor, age 71 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026.

She was born in Coahoma County, Mississippi to the late James and Alice Province McGregor. Sherry moved to Murphy, NC in 1988. She owned and operated Timberwood Mountain Realty since 1993. She loved writing poetry, reading, singing, and was always ready to expand her knowledge. Sherry was very devoted to her family and loved her furbabies. She dearly loved her Lord. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Murphy Chapter #10.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Earl McGregor, Johnny McNeely and one sister, Faye Stone.

She is survived by her children, Ryan (Susan) Koehn of Knoxville TN, Tana (Earl) Goossen of Rosenort Manitoba, Alisha (Steve) Koehn of Loudon TN, and Jill Koehn of Murphy North Carolina, ex-husband Randy Koehn of Leland Mississippi; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Order of Eastern Star Murphy Chapter #10 will take part in the service. Minister Ron Jantz will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Laramie, DJ, Canyon, Riley, Nathan and Vallen.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel.
