Kathy Rodgers Hardin

Kathy Rodgers Hardin, 76, of Murphy passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026. She was the daughter of the late John and Bonnie Pierce Rodgers.

Kathy had worked as a seamstress with Levi and Straus. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kathy loved going to yard sales, flee markets, and tending to her flowers. She was a member of Bear Paw Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Glenn Rodgers and David Rodgers; and sisters, Rhonda Connor, Edna Frazier, and Janice Walker.

Surviving is her husband, James Hardin; a son, John Hardin (Christy); daughters, Bobbie Mashburn (Tim), and Pam Mashburn (Jerry); brother, Jerry Rodgers; sisters, Johnnie Jett, Lois Wiser, and Mary Stinnett; and lots of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hardin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Tuesday June 16, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home prior to the services.
