Sally Jo Bohrer Hudson

Sally Jo Bohrer Hudson, 86, went home on Saturday, July 18, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Don and Erma Campbell Bohrer.

Sally was a longtime Editor with the Andrews Journal. She loved spending time with her family, reading, and sitting in the sunlight. Sally grew up in Wyoming, Before getting married and traveling all across the Country building her family. Sally was a proud member of her community and a frequent visitor of the Andrews Library. A Beloved wife, mother, grandma, Gigi, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Sandra Prather; a son-in-law, Robert Simpson; and a brother, Dick Bohrer.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Julie and husband, John Norcross and Linda Simpson; son, Dan and wife, Susan Hudson; grandsons, Chad Prather and Drew Norcross; granddaughter, Shay Simpson; great grandsons, Kellan and Hudson; great granddaughters Taylor, Maleia and Quinnlei; and sisters, Sonya and Priscilla.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Friends of the Andrews Public Library, 871 Main Street, Andrews, NC 28901, or Andrews Food Bank, PO Box 843, Andrews, NC 28901.

A Private Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held at a later date.
