Mary Ann Hoesch

Mary Ann Fischel Hoesch, age 83 of Murphy, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Mary Ann was born in Chicago, IL to the late John Henry and Jennie Oster Fischel. She had resided in Murphy since 2007. Mary Ann worked as a customer service manager for the CosmoProf beauty industry. She loved to crochet and knit. Mary Ann also loved to ride Harleys, traveling and going on cruises. She especially loved her grandchildren. Mary Ann was a member of Mountain Country Rod & Gun Club and Piedmont Division of the NMRA (model train club).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two half brothers, John Mazur and Martin Mazur.

She is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Hoesch; a daughter, Holly Wisse (Martin); and her three grandchildren, Peyton Davidek, Caven Davidek and Callie Karsten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
