Betty Jean Bass

Betty Jean Bass, age 93 of Murphy, NC passed away Saturday, September 5, 2025.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Barber; and three sisters, Evelyn Collins, Vivian and Bassie Lee Butler.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Wilson of Murphy; one granddaughter, Amber Cheri Howell; and one great grandson, Wyatt Patton Howell.

Graveside arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Townson-Rose Funeral Home.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
