Eric Walter Axelrod

Eric Walter Axelrod, age 76 of Hayesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

He was born in New York City, NY to the late John and Frances Cohen Axelrod. Eric had worked as an activity director at Hayesville House. He loved to write, read, to serve and help others. Eric also loved to greet people at church. He was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his foster brother, Anthony Fascella; and his foster sister, Denise Fullman.
