Obituary for Korbin Fisher Smith

Korbin Fisher Smith, age 3 of Andrews, NC, child of the one true King received his healing on Sunday, May 31, 2015 and is in the arms of his Creator.

Korbin was a native of Andrews, NC and the son of Jamie and Sarah Darcy Smith of Andrews, NC. He loved playing with his brother, playing the drums, riding his four-wheeler, and taking care of his chickens, dogs and goats. Korbin also loved monster trucks and tractors. He loved hunting with his daddy and working with his Poppie in the shop. Korbin loved going to church and singing. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Marble, NC where he loved going.

He was preceded in death by his Aunt, April Darcy and great grandfather, James Leonard.

In addition to his parents he is survived by the best big brother ever, Kaleb Smith; paternal grandparents, Ricky Smith of Marble, NC and Jeff and Vivian Bailey of Murphy, NC; maternal grandparents, Brian and Christa Darcy of Andrews, NC; paternal great grandparents, Gerald and Lois Parker of Marble, NC, Lucy Leonard of Maryland; maternal great grandparents, Alan and Melinda Darcy of Murphy, NC, Derrell and Lois Croft of Florida, Bud Jones of West Virginia and Bonnie Jones of Andrews, NC; cousin, Neiko Wiley; and several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and a community that loved him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Marble, NC. Rev. Randal Moss will officiate. Burial will be in the Valleytown Cemetery in Andrews, NC. Pallbearers will be Derek Luther, Cody Luther, Kenny Clark, Mark Farmer, Gaige Moss and Will Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Trantham, Shylan Moss, Dakota Thompson, Ben Gibson, Kaden Clark and Jeremy Hicks.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 2 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friends of Santa, 1880 Chestnut Hill Drive, Tega Cay, South Carolina 29708.
