Lynda Kathleen Ferguson was born April 10th, 1949 at King's Daughters Hospital in Ashland, KY. She died Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her home in Wilmington, NC. Lynda was 67 years of age in April.
Surviving are her three children, Jennifer Clark Gelsheimer of Overland Park, KS, and her four children, Stephanie Clark of Jacksonville, NC and her three children, and Scott Allan Clark of Overland Park, KS,and his three children, and one great grandchild of Jacksonville, NC. Lynda also leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Bob Ferguson of Wilmington, NC, and one brother, Larry David Wood, of Los Angeles, CA and one sister, Donna Wood Peifer of Honolulu, HI.
Lynda was beloved by all who knew her. She had charm, graciousness, kindness, and was always sweet to everyone. Besides raising a family and spending four years in Okinawa, Japan with her young children during a tour of duty, she taught herself how to transfer 8MM video to DVD and matched the music perfectly to images for photo slide shows. Lynda had endless talents and we will miss her, each and every day.
If her family could tell her one thing, it would be, “We Love you, Dear and Rest Easy Sweet Sister”.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Burial will be in the Little Choga Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
