Kay Lowery Dills, age 80 of Hayesville, NC passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Gastonia, NC to the late John and Lillian Wright Lowery. Kay worked in the textile industry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dills; one son, Johnny Dills and one sister, Bobbie Dills.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Dills of Hayesville; two daughters, Barbara Carpenter of Bessmer City, NC and Marsha Braun of Tampa, FL; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Bo Ford will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Towns County, GA. Pallbearers will be Wade Henson, Woody Huskins and Jimmy Rogers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
