Lynn Jones DeHart, age 72, of Hayesville, NC passed away, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Davidson County, NC to the late Jeffery Perry and Ara Elizabeth Weston Jones. Lynn had worked in the textile industry for several manufacturing companies. She loved spending time with her family. Lynn enjoyed her flowers, the beach, bowling and playing cards.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James William DeHart; grandson Jason Reece; brother, Bill Jones; sisters, Julia Pegram, Nancy Williams, Sandra Martin and Jean Hayes.
She is survived by a son, Jim DeHart of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Sharon Reynolds and husband Russell and Teresa Reece and husband Phillip all of Hayesville, NC; brother, Richard Jones and companion Sarah of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Casey Reece, Brandon DeHart, Krista DeHart, Brooke Reynolds, and Brady Reynolds; great grandchildren, Carson Reece, Connor Reece, Nora DeHart, Weston Reece, Olive Kass and Otis Kass. A special thank you to her oncologist, Dr. James Radford and staff, Kyle and Sally Cody and Jeff Ledford.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Townson- Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Clark Moss will officiate. Music will be provided by Sally Cody, Lynae and Charlie Cheeks. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Carter, Doug Smith, Rex Davis, Barrett Davis, Jeff Ledford and Danny Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Dailey, Dr. James Radford, Johnnie DeHart and Gene DeHart.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm, Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
