Ron "Candy Man" James, age 92 of Hayesville passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Erlanger Medical Center.
Ron was the son of the late Elmer and Annie James. He was known as the "Candy Man" and enjoyed getting hugs from ladies and hand shakes from the men he met. He also enjoyed going to Jimmy's Pick and Grin every Saturday night. Ron loved working with his hands and doing woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolgene James, two brothers, Leslie and Larry James, and three sisters, Dora Dean King, Dorothy Evans, and Mary Frances Vinson.
Surviving are his six children, Brenda James (Tracy Meredith), Sharon McKinney (Bob), Rhonda Dockery (Lee King), Tina Radcliff, Jan Boom( Michael), and Rondall James, Jr. (Trisha); ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be announced at a later date.
