Richard William Morrow, Sr., age 52 of Andrews, NC passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020.
He was born in Lexington, GA to Pearl Morrow of Andrews, NC and the late Sherman Morrow. Richard worked for Levi Strauss & Company from the time he was 16 years old until they closed. He started his own business after Levi Strauss and was self-made. Richard was a family man.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Queen Morrow; four sons, Richard Morrow and wife Jenny, Andrew Morrow, Brent Morrow and Levi Whitaker; two daughters, Lacy Burson and Jasmine Whitaker; five sisters, Maria Day, Misty McDonald, Jackie Guffey, Shannon Runge and Vickie Green; and 10 grandchildren.
The family will have a private funeral service at 2 pm, Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy. Rev. Carol Roper will officiate. Burial will be in the Maltby Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tylor McDonald Jacob Runge, Gage Runge, Gerald Greene, Matthew Guffey, Michael Guffey and Levi Whitaker. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Guffey, Josh Runge, Dennis Day and Randy McDonald.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm, Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
