Margaret Jean Grizzle, 76, of Murphy passed away Thursday, July 01, 2021. She was a native of Cherokee County. Jean had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Ranger Baptist Church. Jean loved to read the Bible.
She was the daughter of the late George and Erna Stiles Postell, and the wife of the late Lanier Grizzle. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Killian; and two sisters, Linda Dockery and Betty Mulkey.
Surviving are a son, Jeff Killian; a daughter, Dana Campbell; four sisters, Darlene Hawkins, Gail Waldroup, Pat Lance, and Jo Walsh; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, July 04, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. L.B. Adams officiating. Interment will be in Old Martins Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Bailey, Jeff Killian, Dawson Grizzle, Trampas Crisp, and Thristen Bailey.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 Sunday afternoon at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home prior to the services.
