Harold Wilson, 74, of Marble passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Harris Regional Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. Harold retired from United States Postal Service as a clerk for 29 years. He loved his family, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his granddaughters. Harold was a member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church and had attended Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Johnnie and Jane Pendley Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wilson.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Wilson; two sons, Trent Wilson, and Brad Wilson and wife, Kimberly; a daughter, Kristi Mingus and husband, Michael; three granddaughters, Lauren Mingus, Natalie, and Julia Wilson; and a nephew, Dwayne Wilson.
A private graveside service will be held at Peachtree Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Gideons International, PO Box 164, Murphy, NC 28906.
