Dale "Banjo" Robinson, 54, of Murphy passed away September 10, 2021 at his residence. He loved fishing, NASCAR, his family, and playing with his kids. He had worked for Snap-On for 19 years as a machinist. Dale was a member of Wilscot Church and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was the son of the late Lloyd and Clara Waters Robinson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Robinson, and Paul Robinson.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years, April Robinson; a son, Rusty Bailey; five daughters; Ashley Jones (Davie), Brandy Dillard (Larry), Kaitlyn Robinson (Jeremy Mickens), Cierra Roberts, and Joycee Robinson; a brother, Jimmy Robinson; and eight grandchildren, Isaac, Christian, LJ, Noah, Aubrey, Brynlee, Brandon, and Kinsley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Billy Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in the Peachtree Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Duke and Mike Scroggs, Chris Walker, Jeff and Kent Roberson, Justin Gaddis, and Trevor Grant. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Mickens, Kelly Plemmons, Davie Jones, Larry Dillard, and Stephen Dean.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Monday evening, September 13, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
