Charlotte Chastain Webb, age 81, of Murphy, NC, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021.
She was born in Murphy, NC to the late Marty and Ethel Chastain. She was the youngest of six children, and was preceded in death by three brothers, Clinton, Eddie, and Dillon; one sister Irene Buchanan, her husband George Webb, her middle child Charlene Rondan-Fernandez; and two brothers in law, Ellis Williams, and Howard Buchanan.
She enjoyed eating out at her favorite local restaurants; going to local auctions; yards sales; thrift stores; and driving around to see fall colors, and Christmas lights. She also enjoyed embroidering various items, such as pillowcases, to give away as gifts.
She is survived by one sister, Judy Williams, two sister-in-laws, Mary Chastain, and Bulah Chastain, as well as one daughter, Mary Paul along with her husband Sandy Paul, and one son, Darrell Saucedo along with his wife Kirsten Saucedo. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 2 pm- 4 pm at Martins Creek Community Center, Murphy, North Carolina. Inurnment will be in New Martins Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Loving Memory of Charlotte Webb to Good Shepherd Hospice, 165 Old Hwy 64 W, #6, Hayesville, NC 28904.
