Ronald Cleveland Patterson of Marble, NC went home with the Lord July 9, 2022.
He was born in Graham County, NC, September 7, 1943. Ronald was involved in ministry for the past 30 years and touched many lives. He was the owner/operator of Patterson Tire and also had a repair shop for CB's and Radios. Ronald was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and camp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ellen Smith Patterson; two brothers, Edward and Richard Patterson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce Patterson, and three children: Mark Patterson, Max (Judy) Patterson, and Karen (Michael) Phillips. He enjoyed each of his six grandchildren Dana (Nathan) Hack, Jonathan Rowland, Jasmine Patterson, Becky (Phil) Houston, Coley (Tim) Bartholomew, and Lance Phillips. He was blessed with two great grandchildren Abigale Hack, and Tiana Bartholomew; one brother, James Patterson; and three sisters, Elizabeth McDonald, Virginia McClure (Randal) and Velma Brown.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Pastor Harold Stiles, Rev. Steve Sneed, Rev. Lance Phillips and Rev. Fred Lunsford will officiate. Music will be provided by George VanBuskirk. Burial will be in the Carver Cemetery in Robbinsville. Pallbearers will be Tommy Moss, Lonnie Stewart, Mark Golden, Jonathan Rowland, Scott Caylor and Robert Debty. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Guffey, Francis Cook and Larry Allen.
Ronald encouraged family and friends to walk closely with the Lord. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Lighthouse Ministry Endowment Fund, 1045 Ebenezer Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
