David “Luke” Ronald McCoy, age 71 of Murphy, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022.
Luke was born in Cherokee County to the late William McCoy and Frankie McCoy Hunter. He was an automotive mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Keith “Cotton” McCoy.
He is survived by his wife, Martha McCoy; his son, Brett McCoy and wife Erin; his daughter, Kayla Radford and husband Tyler; his brother, Steve McCoy; his sister, Susie Chekelelee; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Radford, Kaylee Radford and Kathryn McCoy.
A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Little Brasstown Baptist Church. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 12pm prior to the memorial service at Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
