Jerry Steele, 76, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was the son of the late Ralph and Ethelyn Chaffin Steele. He had worked with Ford Motor Company and was a Deacon of Faith Baptist Tabernacle.
Surviving is his wife, Shirley Steele; a son, Andy Steele and wife, April; daughters, Tammy Sanders, and Teresa Miller and husband, Timothy; sisters, Connie West and husband, Mike, and Martha Auriemma and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Savannah Miller, Victoria Miller, and Shawn Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel, Andrews.
A second visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Haisten Funerals and Cremations, 1745 South Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Interment will be at noon, Monday, February 27, 2023 at Sherwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
