Mark Paul McKinley, age 76 of Murphy, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Mark was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to the late Paul George and Margaret Chewning McKinley. He worked as a supervisor for Florida Power and Light. Mark loved fishing, camping and especially loved sponsoring people in Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a member of Ranger United Methodist Church in Murphy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Scott McKinley.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Farrow McKinley; daughter, Lisa Hood (Rich) of Tennessee; son, Greg McKinley (Kelli) of Florida; three grandchildren, Wyatt, Willow and Wylie McKinley; one brother-in-law, Sam Farrow (Donna); one nephew, Miles McKinley of Florida; and two nieces, Kelli Ambrosino of Marble, NC and Stacie Farrow (Oliver Kunz) of Washington.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, September 18, 2026 at Ranger United Methodist Church in Murphy. Rev. Dan Gaddy will officiate. Burial will be in church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg McKinley, Sam Farrow, Sam Davis, Ken Price, Bill Tanner and Steve Heinchon.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
