Kathleen Mary Robertson Cagle, 93, of Andrews, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in the Murphy Rehab and Nursing.

Kathleen was a native of Haywood County, NC and was born on September 9, 1927 to the late Grady and Nola Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bryson Cagle who passed away in 2003; and brothers, Pender, Kermit, and Max Robertson.

"Kat" as she was known by her family and friends moved with her husband and children to the Granny Squirrel area of Andrews in April of 1964 where her husband owned and operated Cagle's Garage. She was an active member of the Mountain View Baptist Church for many years, and look forward to her Pastor visiting from time to time in her home. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family for holidays and family dinners. She also loved being a housewife, taking care of her home and being a babysitter to her grandchildren. Her friends remember her as someone who loved to shop and going out to eat. Kat often shared her faith in the Lord and had an infectious smile and became known by it in the nursing home where she greeted everyone with a smile and a wave.

She is survived by one brother, Sherrill Robertson and wife Ruby of Waynesville, NC; one son, Gary Cagle and wife Joyce of Andrews, NC; and two daughters, Linda Day and husband Calvin of Andrews, NC and Darlene McClure and husband Darrell of Navarre, FL.

Her family was her life and she loved her grandchildren, John Day of Blairsville, GA, Craig Day of Sylva, NC, Dustin McClure and wife Allison of Honolulu, HI, Patricia Cagle Bolyard and husband Scott of Hendersonville, NC, Jennifer Cagle Holloway and husband Doug of Andrews, NC; and her great grandchildren, Lexie Holloway McClure and husband Cody of Andrews, NC, Bryson Holloway of Andrews, NC, Preston and William Bolyard of Hendersonville, NC and Kinley and Piper McClure of Honolulu, HI.

The family has decided to delay services at this time to respect everyone's health, and plan a memorial service at a later date. We appreciate all the prayers and condolences from our friends and loved one's.
