Katherine Anne Goshorn Blevins, age 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 15, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 18, 1969 at Patrick Air Force Base to George and Margery Goshorn. She Graduated from Florida State University but her biggest joy in life was bringing her son, Johnathan Blevins into this world.
Kathy enjoyed traveling, trying new restaurants, comedians and visiting gardens, especially the Biltmore Gardens.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Margery (Doug) Douget; her son, Johnathan Blevins; a brother, David (Sarah) Goshorn, along with her nieces, Cora and Margot whom she adored; an Aunt, Mary Bochar; an Uncle, Bob (Sue) Payne; Ernie Blevins, Donald and Ruby Blevins; and Tim Pratt. She is predeceased by her Father, George Goshorn and brother, Robert Goshorn.
Kathy was employed in the Gaming Finance Management at Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino in Murphy, North Carolina since 2015.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Calvary Chapel in Murphy, North Carolina in the near future.
