Clifford William Maney, age 91 of Hayesville, NC passed away Monday, June 16, 2025.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, NC and the son of the late Barto and Rosa Lee Watkins Maney. Clifford was a US Army veteran. He retired from Parker & Reichman in 2000 with 34 years of service. Clifford loved to fish and dig for ginseng. He was a member of Chatuge Church of God in Hayesville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Beasley Maney.
He is survived by three children, Diane Lowe (Jerry), Ricky Maney and significant other, Melinda Ledford, and Rex Maney (Melissa); five grandchildren, Josh, Travis, Laura, Brandon and Kadie; three great grandchildren, Marleigh, Lane and Bentley.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Chatuge Church of God in Hayesville. David Womble will officiate. Music will be provided by Billy Garrett and Austin Humphries. Burial will be in the Shooting Creek Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Josh Lowe, Travis Maney, Brandon Maney, Ronnie Maney, Joe Allen Davenport and Price Moore.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
