Obituary for Mildred Ann Woody

It is with deep love and heavy hearts, the family of Mildred Ann Woody, announces her peaceful passing on Friday, December 5, 2025 following a long battle with cancer. She left this world in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Mildred was a proud loving mother of seven children, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and her precious furbabies, Tina, Louise and Natalie.

She was a caring and loyal friend to many. Throughout her battle with cancer, Mildred demonstrated a strength and courage that touched everyone she knew. She faced each day with determination and hope, refusing to let her illness diminish her spirit.

Though our hearts ache with her absence we are comforted knowing that her courage, strength and memory will live on through her family and friends she loved so much.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 2 pm, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy to celebrate Mildred's life. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Cancer Care in her memory supporting others walking the path she so bravely endured.
