Edward Dockery, 79, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026. He was born on September 20, 1946 to the late Garland and June McMillian Dockery.
Edward had worked as a crane operator, and painted houses on the side. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Edward had served in the Army 25th Infantry Division for two years in Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Teague; brothers, Bob Dockery and Therman Dockery; and a grandson, Matthew Dockery.
Surviving are two daughters, Tracey Dockery and Patti Dockery; a son, Allan Dockery; sisters, Auanita McCormick, Shirley Radford, Margaret Walden, and Jenny Allen; brother, Lex Dockery; granddaughters, Brooke Sanders and Courtney Dockery; grandsons, Joseph Sanders and Andrew Moneymaker; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
