Obituary for Ronda Lynette Owens

Ronda Lynette Owens, age 57, of Rome, GA passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

She was born in Andrews, NC to Robert Melton Lewis, Sr. and Mary Taylor Lewis. Ronda enjoyed reading and gardening. She enjoyed writing, especially writing poetry. Charlie was her favorite fur baby. Ronda was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville, GA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roscoe Owens, III.

In addition to her parents, Ronda is survived by two sons, Kristapher Owens (Danielle) and Robert Owens (Traci) all of Cartersville, GA; one daughter, Miriam Porter (Troy) of Rome, GA; her paternal grandmother, Edna Mae Farr; one brother, Robert Melton Lewis, Jr. (Leesa) of Bryson City, NC; one sister, Robyn Prince (Gregg) of Robbinsville, NC and two granddaughters, Abbigail and Tessa.

No services are planned at this time.
