Carolyn Ann Dockery Hatchett, Age, 77 of Murphy, NC passed away, Monday, April 17, 2023. She was a native and life-long resident of Cherokee County, born on September 15, 1945 to the late Ervin Wilton Dockery and Mae Bell Killian Dockery of Murphy.
Carolyn worked for over 30 years as a beautician at Duncan's Beauty shop in Murphy and 15 years with Ingle's Bakery as a cake decorator.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John Ross Dockery of Murphy, her niece Jennifer Sneed Killian and her husband Gene Allen Hatchett, all of Murphy.
Carolyn is survived by her niece Shannon Greathead and husband Shaun of Murphy, special friends and church family from the Beal Town Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 2-3 at the Townson Rose Funeral Home in Murphy on Friday, April 21, 2023 with services at 3 PM with Pastor Todd Chester officiating. There will be no graveside services or burial.
