Constance Roper Lawrence, 85, of Andrews passed away May 6, 2025. She was the daughter of the late William and Stella Denny Roper.
She had worked as a loan officer in the banking industry. Constance loved reading, gardening, watching television, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church in the Nantahala community.
In addition to the parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, O'Dell Roper and Tolbert Roper; and three sisters, Ruth Cope, Roberta Morgan, and Pauline Dills.
She is survived by her son, Barry Lawrence and his wife Pamela of Andrews, NC.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Bethel Hill Baptist Church in the Nantahala community with Pastor Darrell Dockery officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Cope, Keith Cochran, Lynn Mullinax, Zach Cope, Adam Cope, and Austin Dockery.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:30 pm at the church prior to the services.
