Billy Dean Ledford, 81, of Turtletown, TN passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He had worked in heavy equipment doing underground construction. Billy was of the Welch faith He traveled all over the country for his jobs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Billy was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Walhalla, SC, called the Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92.
Billy was born to the late Arvil and Lou Bell Payne Ledford. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Buddy Ledford, Arby Ledford, and Jerry Jones; a granddchild, Addriene Ledford.
Surviving is his wife, Victoria Carruth; son, Russell Jeffrey Ledford; step-son, Kedric Carruth; daughter, Donna "Sissy" Melissa Ledford White; brother, Donnie Jones; grandchildren, Colby Ledford, and Trey White; and niece and nephew, Lisa and Gary Ledford.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday May 27, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home prior to the services.
