Rosalind C. Helton, also known as Roz or Rozie, age 66 of Murphy, passed away October 22, 2023.
Rosalind was born in Polk County, Tennessee to the late Charles Truman and Betty Martin Helton. She was a health care nurse. Rosalind enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, her flowers and completing crafts. She also enjoyed her family. Rosalind had attended Isabella Baptist Church in Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Roxanna Walker.
She is survived by Scarlett Gibson and Carrie Dore, who she considered her own; and two sisters, Charlotte Fryer and husband Rex and Trudy Morrow and husband Jerry.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy with Rev. Jerry Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Watkins, Shane Bruce, Darren Watkins, Chucky Johnson, Tyler Gibson, Timothy McCarthy and Christopher Dore. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy prior to the service.
