Marilyn Fraver Anderson, 87, of Hayesville passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Clay County Center surrounded by her loving caregivers. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Reiss Fraver, and the wife of the late Charles Anderson.
She loved teaching Sunday school at Truett Memorial Baptist Church where she had been a member since 1977. She was very active in her church, organizing activities with the church. Marilyn had worked at First Citizens Bank for 30 years until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and various activities. Marilyn loved spending time and taking care of her family.
She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Lila Mae Fraver and Charles E. Switzer.
Surviving are her daughters; Susan Woody (Terry) and Vickie Broyles; grandchildren, Jennifer Riley (Scott), Brandon Wood, Ashley Broyles, and Lucas Broyles; great grandchildren, Lawrence Riley, Colton Wood, Caydon Wood, Ava Wood, and Brianna Ybarra.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, May 10, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Chester Jones conducting the service. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Riley, Scott Riley, Brandon Wood, Terry Woody and Colton Wood.
