Obituary for Rosie Pauline Ledford Turner

Our beloved mother, Rosie Pauline Ledford Turner, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2024.

Rosie was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, who was always there when we needed her. She was a well-loved member in her community, where she lived and grew up in Hayesville, NC. Rosie was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids. Everything she done, she done with love. We will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillie Evanell Hogsed Ledford; her husband, Charles Turner; two sons, Barry and Gary Turner; four brothers and three sisters.

Rosie is survived by one sister, Barbara Ledford; sons, Michael, Monroe and Roger Turner; daughter, Theresa Johnson and husband Ron; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the staff of Chatuge Regional Nursing Home for the care and love they extended to our mother. Our mother touched alot of people in her lifetime, and anyone else who had the honor of knowing her, or having her to be a part of their life's.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Faith Tabernacle Church in Hayesville from 3 pm to 6 pm. Pastor Bill Dyer will officiate.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
