Obituary for Paul Douglas Hardin

Paul Douglas Hardin died on March 23rd. He was born on August 29, 1939.

He is survived by his daughter, Candace Alane Hardin Littlejohn, his granddaughter, Alana Jolee Becerra and his ex-wife Patricia.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Eugene Hardin, mother, Mary Elizabeth Riley Hardin, sister, Peggy Ann Hardin Fender and brother, Billy Harold Hardin.

He graduated from Canton High School in 1957, where he was on the football team, a member of Beta Club and Future Business Leaders of America. Paul attended and graduated from NC State University in 1961. He married Patricia Ann Waters in 1962. Paul worked at Champion Paper International for 14 years, as did his father until his death. He then worked with Alfa Laval, a company out of Sweden until he retired.

Paul was a lover of all sports, especially anything played by his alma mater, NC State. He was a family man and was always there when he was needed. Like his mother, he was an expert in his opinions. He lived life on his own terms and died in Blairsville Georgia.

Paul was a lifelong Christian; he has gone to be with his Lord.
