William "Bill" Monroe Allison, Jr., age 52 of Hayesville, NC passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024.
He was born in Towns County, GA and was a lifelong resident of Clay County, NC. Bill was the son of the late William Monroe Allison, Sr. and Mary Bradley Allison. He worked as a Transfer Attendant for the Clay County Transfer Station. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to read. He collected knives and arrowheads.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Wanda Jones.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Cindy Allison; one niece, Shawnda Smith (Joshua); one nephew, Nicholas Jones (Lydia); three great nieces, Ava Smith, Violet Jones and Hazel Jones; two great nephews, Jackson Lance and Noah Smith; two twins on the way; and one brother-in-law, Kim Jones.
An inurnment service will be held at 11 am, Friday, March 29, 2024 at Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Charlie Shelton will officiate. Music will be provided by Mike Garret and Joey and Moe Buckner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wanda Jones Scholarship Fund at the United Community Bank in Hayesville.
