Obituary for Pam Wojcik

01/30/1960 - 04/15/2024

Pamela Sue Jacobus Wojcik, age 64 of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, April 15, 2024.

Pam was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to Mildred Davidson Gardener and the late Robert Carey Jacobus, Jr. She was a hard worker and master drywaller for years. She loved to golf, ride motorcycles, and was an accomplished fishing woman. She and her husband, Donald shared many Harley rides and on many different "personalities " of Harley's depending on the adventure of the day. He describes her as "a supportive wife and best friend". Her beautiful, braided ponytail which hung down past her waist and colorful, tie-dyed choice of dress complimented her gentleness and kind spirit. Pam would stay up until the wee hours of morning watching game shows and MMA game sports. She had a heart for cats and dogs, especially her Pug dog Buck.

She was always a "giver". She celebrated holidays and birthdays with a passion and always went out of her way to make everyone around her feel special. She helped the elderly and less fortunate and had a very BIG heart. Despite her grim prognosis, she embraced life, even during her last month, making happy memories with family that will carry through generations.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Wojcik, parents Mike and Aileen Gardner, brothers Robert Jacobus (Juanita) and Alex Jacobus, sister and brother in love Roy and Linda Bamfield, son, Michael Trowsse, grandson Tanner Trowsse, and great granddaughter Akari Marie Trowsse. Her nephew Jason Serres and his family were also very close and special to her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Reid's Chapel 4281 Lower Bear Paw Rd, Murphy, NC on Thursday, April 25 at 10:00 am. Pastor Bob Boozer will officiate. You may send tributes to the family at www.townson-rose.com.
