Derek William Wilson, age 50 of Marble, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Derek was born in Cherokee County to the late Butch Totherow and Geraldine Wilson. He was employed as a carpenter. Derek loved golfing, fishing and teaching his daughter, Tori, how to play softball.
In addition to his mother, Derek is survived by his adoptive father, Jerry Dickey; his son, Tyler Wilson and wife Tasheena; his daughters, Victoria “Tori” Wilson Pinkerton and husband Zac and Jessica Walker; his brothers, Dustin Totherow and Brandon Totherow; his sister, Mandy Jane Fortner; his grandchildren, Braden Seney, Bryson Seney, Peyton Wilson and Curtis Pinkerton; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 4 pm, Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
