Roberta Sue Patterson, age 84 of Hayesville, NC passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Astilee Ledford. Roberta was a seamsstress. She loved crafting, crocheting, canning and baking cakes. Roberta was a member of Old Shooting Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Patterson; two daughters, Judy Moss Matheson and Melissa Patterson.
She is survived by her son, James Patterson of Hayesville, NC; one sister, Louise Hooper of Hiawassee, GA; and three granchildren, Gail Tipton (Adam), Jonah Matheson and Ben Patterson.
No services are planned.
