Michael Scott Carpenter, age 36 of Andrews, NC and formerly of Athens, GA passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025.
He was born in Athens, GA to the late Jade Michael and Janet Morgan Carpenter. Michael enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to car shows. He took immense pride in being a lineman. Michael loved spending time with his kids.
He is survived by three sons, Ryker Gilreath, Prestyn and Layken Carpenter; two sisters, Roxanne Reeder (John) of Athens, GA and Jada Garmon (Shaun) of Monroe, GA; aunts, Robin "Susie" Mull, Betty Stanley (David), and Barbara Rhodes (Jackie); uncle, Ricky Morgan (Diane); several nieces and nephews; and girlfriend, Winn Hibberts.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
