Betty Lou Roberts Cato age 87, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Murphy Rehab and Nursing in Murphy, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Rupert Earl and Helen Baltzell Roberts. She worked in retail sales and was a real estate broker. She also taught Sunday School and enjoyed spending time with her friends, often at the luncheon table of a favorite restaurant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willie Guymon Cato, Jr.; a son, Donald Lynn Cato; and a brother, Earl Rupert Roberts.
She is survived by her son Cary Paul Cato and wife Linda of Pembroke Pines, FL; a daughter, Karen Barrett, of Aiken, SC; three grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Hayesville with Rev. Robert Seibert officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
