Helen Sims Rose, age 82, of Lawrenceville, GA and formerly of Ducktown TN passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Lawrenceville, GA.
She was born in Abbyville, Kansas to the late Andrew Johnson and Delphia Elizabeth Lance Sims. Helen was a retired sales administrator for a small engine repair service. She attended Mine City Baptist Church in Turtletown, TN.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Rose; a daughter, Patricia Gerald; and brother, Gordon Sims.
She is survived by her son, Theron Rose; daughters, Kathleen McKenzie and Charlotte Sadler; brothers, Bud Sims, Jerry Sims, Steve Sims and Richard Sims; sisters, Louise Skiles and Audrey Seaton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Burial will be in the Violet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 PM to 1 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
