Eddie Lee Mull Garrett, age 91 of Hayesville, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Eddie was born in Clay County to the late Joe David and Martha Jane Wimpey Mull. She was a beautician and owner of Garrett's Beauty Shop. Eddie was a choir member of First Freewill Baptist Church; she loved to sing. She was always involved with the Senior Center Meals on Wheels beginning in 2003.
Eddie was preceded in death by her husband, Narvel L. Garrett; a son-in-law, Larry O. Ledford; her sisters, Mary Jo, Eva Nell and Bennie Louise; and her brothers, John, William and Donald.
She is survived by her son, Michael D. Garrett and wife Linda; her daughter, Debra J. Ledford; her grandsons, Travis and Chad Garrett, Michael Kippie and Kevin Ledford; her great grandchildren, Marcus Ledford and wife Kayla, Lexie Ledford, Silas Ledford, Jullian Ledford and Sierra Ledford; her great great grandchildren, Garrett Clay Ledford, Jessica and Artemis Ledford; her sisters, Ida Jane and Nancy Sue; her brothers, James and David; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Hayesville Baptist Presbyterian Cemetery. Rev. Steve Cothren will officiate.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her residence at 1061 Lawrence Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.
