James Robert Durfee, age 80 of Marble, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
James was born in Albany, New York to the late Floyd and Myrtle Martin Durfee. He worked in boat motor assembly. James enjoyed fishing, reading, bowling, watching TV and spending time with his family. He was a United States Marine veteran.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bonny Dickinson Durfee; and a great granddaughter, Hailey.
He is survived by his son, Cliff Durfee (Sarah); his step-sons, Chris Sponseller (Misty) and Chuck Sanders; his daughter, Patricia Garrett (Daniel); his step-daughter, Charlene Emmett (Mark); two brothers, Bill Durfee and Floyd "Sunny" Durfee, Jr.; his sister, Patricia "Pat" Mahaney; his grandchildren, Isabelle Durfee, Holly Garrett, Christina McGaha, John Garrett, Dustin Garrett, Ian Matthews and Isaiah Matthews; and his great grandchildren, James, Michael, Zoe, Emma, Jessica, Harley, Atries and Adrienne.
No services are planned at this time.
